不少外貿(mào)人對(duì)打電話(huà)給國(guó)外客戶(hù)這件事有些怵，總覺(jué)得自己口語(yǔ)不夠好，或者怕聽(tīng)不懂老外在講些什么，所以極力避免。

但其實(shí)有些時(shí)候，一通電話(huà)的效果遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)好過(guò)郵件漫長(zhǎng)的你來(lái)我往。

下面列舉一些英語(yǔ)電話(huà)的常用句式，在給客戶(hù)電話(huà)前，不妨多練習(xí)。

電話(huà)號(hào)碼這么念

◆念一串電話(huà)號(hào)碼時(shí)，最好每三個(gè)或四個(gè)數(shù)字中間停頓一下。

◆連在一起的兩個(gè)或三個(gè)相同數(shù)字，可以用double或triple，比如：

222 讀作 triple two；

3344 讀作 double three，double four；

5555 讀作 double five，double five，如果要說(shuō)“five five five five”也可以，但不要說(shuō)four five，那是45。

郵箱地址這么說(shuō)

◆@讀作“at”，所以，John@gmail.com就是“John，at，gmail，dot，com”。

◆如果用戶(hù)名的部分有標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)，常見(jiàn)幾種這么讀：

“/” 讀作 “forward slash”。

“-” 讀作 “hyphen [‘ha?f(?)n]” or a “dash”。

“_” 讀作 “underscore”。

接通電話(huà)

◆不知道來(lái)電者是誰(shuí)時(shí)，可以禮貌的詢(xún)問(wèn)：

May I ask who’s calling?

Could I have your name,please?

請(qǐng)問(wèn)您是？/能否告知您的姓名？

◆在公司，接電話(huà)要先報(bào)上自己的名字。

但不要說(shuō)“I am”或“My name is”，直接在自己的名字后面加上“speaking”就可以了。

Hello,John Smith speaking.

你好，我是約翰·史密斯。

◆請(qǐng)某人接聽(tīng)電話(huà)時(shí)：

A: Can I speak to Mr Smith,please?/

Is Mr Smith there,please?

我能和史密斯先生通話(huà)么？/史密斯先生在么？

◆如果對(duì)方找的人正是你，可以這樣回復(fù)：

A: Can I speak to Lily,please?

可以幫我接一下Lily嗎？

B: Speaking.

我就是

留下口訊

◆對(duì)方要找的人不在，你可以說(shuō)明情況，注意在句首禮貌的加上“I’m afraid”或者“I’m sorry”。比如:

I’m afraid Mr Smith is out of the office today.

抱歉史密斯先生今天不在公司。

I’m afraid his line is engaged. 他正在通話(huà)中。

其他可能的情況還有：

…off sick today.請(qǐng)病假了

…in a meeting.開(kāi)會(huì)中

…on holiday.休假了

◆詢(xún)問(wèn)對(duì)方是否需要留信息

Would you like to leave a message？

您需要留個(gè)言嗎？

◆如果想要對(duì)方幫忙捎個(gè)信，可以這樣說(shuō)：

Could you take a message?

Could you ask him to call me back?/return my call?

能否讓他給我回個(gè)電話(huà)？

◆聽(tīng)不清對(duì)方的話(huà)

I’m sorry ,could you speak up,please?

不好意思，你能大聲點(diǎn)嗎？

I’m sorry,the line’s bad-could you repeat what you just said?

不好意思，線(xiàn)路很差，您能重復(fù)一下剛剛的話(huà)嗎？

◆沒(méi)聽(tīng)懂對(duì)方的意思

I’m sorry，could you repeat that please？

不好意思，你能重復(fù)一下嗎？

Sorry,I didn’t quite catch that.

不好意思，我沒(méi)聽(tīng)清。

Sorry,I didn’t catch your surname.

抱歉，我沒(méi)聽(tīng)清你的姓名。

I’m sorry，I didn’t get that.

Could you say it again，please？

不好意思，我沒(méi)聽(tīng)到，您能再說(shuō)一遍嗎？

I’m afraid I don’t follow you.

Could you repeat it,please?

◆糾正對(duì)方的說(shuō)法

Actually，it’s 16，not 60.

事實(shí)上，是16，不是60.（強(qiáng)調(diào)引起困惑的詞）

I’m sorry，but I think there’s been a misunderstanding.

The payment’s due next week，not next month.

不好意思，但我認(rèn)為這里有點(diǎn)誤會(huì)。這筆賬下周到期，而不是下個(gè)月。

I’m sorry，but that’s not quite right…

不好意思，不是這樣的……

◆確認(rèn)自己是否理解正確

So if I understand you correctly…

所以如果我理解得正確的話(huà)…

When you say… do you mean…？

你說(shuō)的……，是……意思嗎？
